Criminal Charges

Bertha's not even exaggerating. If you take enough of the core math and science classes, you can get a bill twice that much. Of course my classes were in the liberal arts department, so the $100+ books were few and far between. Still. $30 to $50 for something I might crack open once a week if that is ri-fucking-diculious! SOME OF THEM I NEVER EVEN NEED!! (rips out hair) Schools charge outrageous amounts for books since they know they can get away with it, so those of you on your way to college: LOOK ON EBAY FIRST. And always sell your expensive books, either to the school or via eBay.
End rant.

Now on to the art itself. I'm not happy with Bertha. I love how her face came out, but I positioned her head too low on the paper and she came out short. She's supposed to be almost six feet tall, with a slim model build. Instead she looks like a hippie dude. Barf. Prudence is a tad smaller than I intended too, but she's proportioned right. Lydia is supposed to be bigger since she's walking (or trying to) ahead of them.

In case you're wondering, Prudence is not taking ten classes. She just has multiple books for some of them. Another way they get you... selling you two or three reasonably priced books so it equals out to one ungodly expensive book.
