More of Evy's Capitol attire.
The blue one is just another everyday wear, but a little more formal.
The brown and black gown is something that would be worn to a private dinner party. Elegant, but not too ostentatious.
Christmas has rather fallen by the wayside, but the tradition of wear white and red for the Winter Solstice parties is alive and well. So is the tradition of presents. Gotta keep the loot exchange going!
Coriolanus celebrates both his birthday and coronation anniversary in a huge party in July (Sutherland's birthday's in July so that's where I pulled that date from). In keeping with the tradition of dressing his mistresses like queens, he has Evy wear lavish violet gowns to these affairs.
The sketch is supposed to be what she wears to the Opening Ceremony of the 74th Hunger Games. I left it uninked and uncoloured because the detail in the crown and jewelry would have been ruined. It's supposed to be a deep crimson/purple with garnets, diamonds, and pearls set in platinum.
These next two are actually set on the paper backwards.
The black dress she wears to Katniss and Peeta's Victory Tour feast in the Capitol. Yes it's modeled after their chariot outfits as an outward approval of their victory and a private "fuck you" to Snow. Plus DAMN!
Is she strutting that hot bod in black or what?
The final one is actually worn at Katniss and Peeta's Victory Feast just after they win. At this point she's an emotional wreck because her cousin Foxface (Amelia) is dead and Snow won't let her go back to D5 to see her family and attend the funeral. She copes in the most gracious and mature way possible: getting hammered and getting into an enormous fight with him. Luckily for the sake of everyone she cares about it all goes down in private, but it's an ugly part of the narrative. One that won't be very easy to write when I get there.
On the story: I'm hoping to get the next few chapters done within two weeks. Two of them are nearly complete; they just need some padding out and editing. And then I hope to get moving with some fresh writing. Schoolwork takes priority though.
