Future President

Considering how I rushed colouring this it doesn't look too bad at all!

Meet President Corlana Snow, greeting the tributes of the 1st Annual Hunger Games! I love the idea of a hereditary monarchy thinly disguised by the title "president" from a dystopian fiction standpoint. A way of twisting what the old government made into what they fought against in the beginning. It doesn't seem like a big stretch of the imagination for a dark future. Here's hoping it stays in fiction only...

If I remember Mockingjay correctly there was some talk of Snow killing his way to power. It could be easily modified into him killing off those who would keep his inherited power in check. Instead of dissolving Parliament, he poisons them! Rather fitting for his character I should think.

But isn't he just a darling little SQUEE? Too bad he grew into a monster.
Corlana is modeled after this actress www.imdb.com/media/rm332934067… (you'll know her if you watch Downton Abby) who has a lot of facial features in common with Mr. Sutherland.
