Kelly the Happy Bergen

So there's dear Kelly in all his glory, along with whatever's going on his head. Poppy refused to scrapbook it, so it was up to me to interpret!

As to how Kelly discovered joy and happiness, I have a theory. My theory, which belongs to me, is as follows. *explodes into coughing fit* Bergens seem to have a tendency to do sort of masochistic things (hitting themselves in the face with flyswatters, premature burials, wedgies, etc.) in their culture of misery. Kelly must have discovered early on that such things, rather than feeding into a loop of crappy moods, actually made him feel good. So as he got older, he just kept pushing it further and further until he was what he is today. A disturbing specimen that confirms that happiness indeed comes from within.
