Character: Kind and gentle, Leto's greatest treasures were not the elements of harmony but her two daughters. Products of a love affair with Zeus prior to his marriage to Hera, they still all took a lot of shit from the bitchy queen. Zeus finally put his hoof down and told Hera to knock it off, and Leto and her daughters were given the freedom to come to the Olympian court. After Apollonia and Artemis left to live in Equestria and assist ponies directly, Leto and all the other Gods and Titans (that didn't fight against the Gods in the War of Immortals) were forbidden to speak with the two rebellious girls. When Eris failed to stop her son Discord from turning all of Equestria into chaos, the twins (now calling themselves Celestia and Luna) took matters into their own hooves. Leto knew that they needed more than their regular powers to save the world, so she defied the laws of Zeus and went to her daughters to give them the elements. Enraged, Zeus had Leto imprisoned in Tartarus as a warning to all who would defy him. After Discord was beaten, Celestia smashed the original sixth Element 'Forgiveness' and replaced it with her own creation 'magic', since she vowed never to forgive her father for locking up her mother.
