Manny's Old Man

I may have mentioned at some point that Sykes' surname was re-appropriated from an old character of mine. Well I decided to dust him off *sneeze* and shove him into Mad Possum as Sykes' father. After all, it's kind of true! Originally he was a human school-teacher. Now he's a preacher of sorts (haven't decided on religion, leaning toward Baptist) and loudly sanctimonious. Emanuel and him never saw eye to eye. Think if Carrie's mother tried to raise Tony Montana... yeah. Not gonna end pretty. He's right there with Samsung on the list of people Sykes hates the most.

As for an actor... I know Julian Beck died before I was even born, but there's just no other. Not after Poltergeist II.

Since it has a nice ring and it did mnemonically lead to my choice for Manny's name, I'm leaving his name Samuel Sykes.
