Meeting the Humphreys

Jeanette's parents live in a rural area about four hours' drive from the City where she and Roxy live, so visits aren't TOO often. But she couldn't wait to introduce them to Roxy (note: this is long before the proposal and wedding).

The shy little guy is the youngest of the brood (I honestly haven't decided how many kids they had, but it was upwards of seven). Mr. Humphrey's missing his left arm from the elbow down from an accident with farm equipment. And don't let the pie fool you; Mrs. Humphrey is not a fan of cooking. Their house is pretty much you prepare your own food when you want to eat it. That said, she's damn good at making apple pie and was happy to throw one together to welcome Roxy to their home.
