Description

Just finished this book. I felt like drawing Francis Dolarhyde's glorious backside. I modeled him largely off Ralph Fiennes who played him in the movie Red Dragon, but made him blonde like the book and the original movie adaptation (Manhunter). The red in the tattoo wasn't canon in the Fiennes version and I honestly can't recall if he had any coloured ink in the book. I just wasn't pleased with the result that plain black and white gave me, so I experimented. Better.

That is so fantastic and the fusion of both Dolarhyde characters is a great idea. Which movie do you prefer? Manhuter is not bad and it´s with William "Freakin´ Gil Grissom" Petersen but I prefer "Red Dragon" as its closer to the book especially the ending! ;-)
